Bluesky Planning Approved

Proposals for offices, shops and a rooftop garden at the former Fenwicks department store have been approved by Westminster Council. The architectural design by Foster and Partners on behalf of Lazari Investments proposes a partial redevelopment with much of the existing building and façade retained.

The landscape proposals for a roof terrace and internal atrium space. The landscape proposals for the roof terraces will create a family of accessible amenity terraces which will incorporate planting into the facade of the buildings which will be visible from the street below. The planting along the edge of the terraces have been carefully coordinated with the Architectural design. The result is a visibly softened edge to the facade.
